WOODVILLE – Services for John Whitaker, 83, of Woodville, who died Thursday, Dec. 4, 2008, at Lane Memorial Hospital in Zachary, La., were 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7, 2008, at Woodville United Methodist Church.
Burial followed at the Whitaker family cemetery under the direction of Riverwood Family Funeral Home in Brookhaven.
Survivors include one son, James Whitaker of DeFuniak Springs, Fla.; one daughter, Wanda Whitaker of Washoupal, Wash.; one brother, Richard Whitaker of Woodville; one sister, Antoinette Jackson of Bains, La.; and five grandchildren.
