NATCHEZ — After spending days with no phone or Internet access, Natchez residents had full restoration of services over the weekend.
AT&T spokeswoman Sue Sperry said all services were fully restored as of Sunday morning.
“Everything went as expected,” she said.
The restoration work was needed after a CableOne work crew, on a excavation project, cut through five of AT&T’s cable lines.
City Engineer David Gardner estimated those lines provided service to approximately 7,000 Natchez residents.
Sperry said AT&T is still investigating the cause of the accident.
