VIDALIA — The Vidalia and Ferriday Chambers of Commerce will have a joint meeting at noon today.

The meeting will be at the Comfort Suites in Vidalia.

The speaker will be Dedrick Roybiskie, a Federal Communications Commission representative who will talk the switch to digital television transmission.

The chambers plan to have occasional joint meetings in the future, Vidalia Chamber Director Kathy Nunnery said.

“We are doing it to continue efforts to improve Concordia Parish by working together,” Ferriday Chamber of Commerce President Rena Pitts said.

Lunch will be $10 for members and non-members.
