Rochelle Frazier, will be at Turning Pages Books & More on Franklin Street. from noon until 2 p.m. on Monday. Frazier is an author and illustrator of the new children’s book “Sweeteas,” and she will be at the book store, to personalize copies of her book.
“Sweeteas” is a book written in rhyme about little Southern girls. Her tiny girls are from New Orleans, Savannah and Charlotte to mention a few but her “most Southern of all,” Precious, is from Natchez. Frazier writes of her Natchez tiny girl saying:
“Well, that leaves me the ‘belle of the ball’
I’m Precious and probably the most southern of all.
I’m a Southern Belle right down to the core…
A little like Scarlett, well maybe more!
I’m proud to call
Natchez, Mississippi
My home.
I live at a bed and breakfast that’s actually quite well-known”
Learn the secrets and the traditions of being a Southern girl friend at our tea party.
