MEADVILLE — Services for Dale Starks, 42, of Roxie, who died Sunday, Dec. 21, 2008, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Franklin High School Auditorium in Meadville.
Burial will follow at Hunt Cemetery on Highway 184, in Roxie, under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home in Bude.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Sunday at the auditorium.
Mr. Starks was born June 26, 1966, in Natchez, the son of John Lee Starks Sr. and Margaret White Starks.
He was preceded in death by his father; one son, Dale Starks Jr.; and grandmother, Letha White.
Survivors include his loving and devoted wife, Stacey Davis Starks; three children, Demareo Starks, Mildred Starks and Morgan Starks, all of Roxie; his mother and stepfather, Henry “Pop” Rogers, both of Roxie; eight brothers, David Starks, John Starks Jr., Derrick Starks, Dee Starks, Grant Rogers and Charles Hunt, all of Roxie, Alvin Starks of Meadville and Mark Rogers of Vicksburg; four sisters, Sylvia Lucas and Connie Rogers, both of Roxie, Theresa Haggard of Vicksburg and Tasha Puckett of Houston, Texas; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
