VIDALIA — A Clayton teen spent Christmas Day behind bars after he was arrested on sex crime charges.

Michael Parish Boyd, 19, 209 Nelson St., Clayton, was arrested on a bench warrant for aggravated rape Dec. 25.

The alleged victim was treated and released from an area hospital earlier in the day, according to a statement from the Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office.

The victim was treated for both rape and other injuries, according to the statement.

Boyd has been detained by the CPSO without bond since his arrest.

The incident is under investigation.
