Former resident signs first book

Natchez — Former Miss-Lou resident Bob Bertolet will have a book signing for his first novel, “The Justice Lovers Case” from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. on Jan. 24 at Turning Pages bookstore in Natchez.
The bookstore is located at 520 Franklin St. in downtown Natchez.
Bertolet, and his wife and children, lived in the the Miss-Lou for 40 years before retiring to Ridgeland in 2004. While in Natchez, Bertolet restored the brick building on the corner of Canal Street and Briel Avenue and operated an oil business from the 1920s structure.
After moving to Ridgeland, Bertolet began writing his crime novel which follows and FBI criminologist on his quest to capture a new type of serial killer.
The book is set in Jackson, but has scene in six southern states including Florida, Tennessee, Alabama, Pennsylvania and Texas.
