This is just a note to let Al Graning know how much I enjoy his column.

It not only keeps me informed about the rules and rulings of the games but it also educates me on the history of sports in the Natchez area. I will continue to look forward to reading your words on the third Tuesday of each month.

Local sports fans may have known my father-in-law the late George “Rosie” Ruzina who came to Natchez in the 50s to play professionally for the Natchez Indian baseball team and later worked at the Natchez post office for many years.

Once again thanks for the column and keep the great  local sports information and history coming.
