WOODVILLE — Services for Ollie Ross, 95, of Woodville, who died Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2009, at Field Memorial Hospital in Centreville, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Magnolia Baptist Church with the Rev. Harold Smith officiating.
Burial will follow at Cedar Rest Cemetery under the direction of Williams & Williams Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mrs. Ross was born Sept. 13, 1913, in Woodville, the daughter of Charlie Ward and Lillian Hayes. She was a member of Magnolia Baptist Church and served on the deaconess board. She was a member of the Eastern Star and Heriohso Jericho county missionary board.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include six daughters, Mary Haynes of Baton Rouge, Rosie Stewart and husband, Earl, both of Bellwood, Ill., Truelove Smith and husband, Lindberty, both of Chicago, Helen Watkins of Broadview, Ill., Mamie Jernagins and husband, Eddie, both of Altdena, Calif., and Dora Payton and husband, Leon, both of Zachary, La.; one son, Isaac W. Ross of Woodville; two brothers, David Ward and Clarence Ward, both of Woodville; 16 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
