Mississippi College has named local students to the 2008 fall semester list of academic scholars, according to Dr. Ron Howard, vice president for Academic Affairs.

To be eligible for the president’s list, a student must maintain a 4.0 based on a 4.0 system. The student must take a full course load of at least 12 semester hours of undergraduate credit with all academic courses impacting their grade point average.

To be eligible for the dean’s list, a student must maintain a 3.5 or better grade point average based on a 4.0 system. The student must take a full course load of undergraduate credit with all academic courses impacting their grade point average.

Making the dean’s list from Natchez are Candice J. Hatcher, Erin E. Lambert and Jordan T. Vance.
