CENTREVILLE — Funeral services for Virginia Elizabeth White Koch, 77, of Centreville, who died Sunday, Jan. 25, 2009, at her residence will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Centreville United Methodist Church.
Burial will follow at the Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of Newman Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Newman Funeral Home in Centreville and from 1 p.m. until time of services at the church Tuesday.
Mrs. Koch was a rural mail carrier for 20 years, and a lifelong member of White’s Chapel United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jones and Claudia Smith; her husband Thomas J. “T.J.” Koch and one sister, Jocelyn White Scott.
Survivors include one son, Edward Koch and wife, Joan, of Centreville; one daughter, Leisa Koch Shuckrow and husband Byron of Centreville; four grandchildren, Leslie K. Bacon and husband Ron, of Jeanerette, Leanne K. Hughes and husband, Wren, of Centreville, Russ Shuckrow of Centreville and Chance Shuckrow of Centreville; two-great-grandchildren, Thomas John Bacon and Alix Bacon of Jeanerette.
Pallbearers will be Larry Scott, Lane White, Phillip Freeman, Ron Bacon, Wren Hughes, Russ Shuckrow and Chance Shuckrow.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity or organization of choice.
