McCOMB (AP) — Police plan to block off some streets Saturday to search for more remains of Ruby Lee Wells.

The 72-year-old, an Alzheimer’s patient, had been missing since July 22, 2007, until some bones identified as hers were found in November.

Police Detective Shannon Sullivan said officers will be working with a cadaver dog team from the Gulfport Police Department to search the area again in hopes of finding the rest of Wells’ remains.

Wells was last seen leaving her house about three blocks from where her bones were later found. Volunteers and city police searched for her for several days but were unable to find her.
