WOODVILLE — Services for Mildred Marie Ashley, 76, of Woodville, who died Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2009, at her residence, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Corinth Church of Christ with the Rev. Bernard Waites and the Rev. Warren Whitaker officiating.
Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, in Woodville, under the direction of Newman Funeral Home in Centreville.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mrs. Ashley was born Dec. 9, 1932, in Wilkinson County, the daughter of Eddie Rabb and Amanda Stewart Rabb. She was a homemaker and a member of Corinth Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lemire Ashley Sr.; one grandson, Jeremy McGraw; and four brothers, Thomas Rabb, Johnny Rabb, Donley Rabb and Howard Rabb.
Survivors include two daughters, Phyllis Green and husband, Johnny, both of Marshall, Ark., and Lynn McGraw and husband, Charles, both of Woodville; one son, Lemire Ashley and wife, Diane, both of Katy, Texas; one sister, Annie Lee Netterville of Woodville; seven grandchildren, Stewart Ashley, Benjamin Ashley, Amanda Singley, Clayton Green, Nicholas Green, Jonathan McGraw and Courtney McGraw; and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Elliott Hammack, Mitchell McGraw, Peyton Cavin, Larry Prichard, Lamar Dickey and Richard Flaccomio.
