NATCHEZ — As part of February’s American Heart Month, Natchez Community Hospital joined thousands of Americans nationwide in celebrating National Wear Red Day on Feb. 6 by encouraging employees to wear red, distributing information to patients and visitors regarding women’s health and having Heart Healthy Lunches available.

Natchez Community Hospital’s Wear Red Day activities are in partnership with The Heart Truth, a national awareness campaign for women about heart disease sponsored by the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute.

National Wear Red Day is an annual event that takes place on the first Friday of February.
