VIDALIA — Services for Bernice “Bea” Roth, 85, of Vidalia, who died Sunday, Feb. 15, 2009, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Laird Funeral Home Union Street Chapel with the Rev. Richard Cullum officiating.
Burial will follow at Harris Rawls Cemetery, in Brookhaven, under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Roth was born Dec. 18, 1923, in Independence, La., the daughter of Hogan and Rhoda Adams Hunt.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters; and two brothers.
Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Harry Roth; two sons, Richard Roth of Vidalia and Dustin Cross of Gauthier; one daughter, Tammy Crosby of Vidalia; five grandchildren, Richard Roth II and wife, Kristy, Geoffery Crosby and wife, Kristen, all of Vidalia, Brittany Crosby of Bogue Chitto, Crystal Hanley and husband, Chris, both of Houston, Texas, and Bethany Stricklin and husband, Michael, both of Vidalia; five great-grandchildren, Aaron Stricklin, Avery Stricklin, Sidnee Roth, Kaylee Roth and Payton Roth.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to St. Judes Children’s Hospital.
