It’s all about the hair

The third graders at Cathedral School know what it takes to become a president — a lot of fake hair and a little padding.

Each student, in celebration of Presidents Day, dressed up as one of the now-dead U.S. presidents.

For Sia Dulam, above, it took a strawberry blond wig and a red suit jacket to transform into James Madison.

While Dulam needed a lot of hair, Nicholas Waycaster, top right, needed none to recreate Dwight Eisenhower’s famous bald head. To do that Waycaster used his yellow swim cap.

Conner Branton didn’t need hair for his head as much as he needed it for his face. Branton, top left, tries to keep his beard affixed to his face while portraying Ulysses S. Grant.

At right, Ali Fury clutches the pillow she used to portray Grover Cleveland’s girth.
