FROGMORE, La. — Services for Alex Green Jr., 42, of Alexandria, La., formerly of Ferriday, who died Saturday, Feb. 14, 2009, at Rapides General Medical Center in Alexandria, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. James Baptist Church with the Rev. James Devine officiating.
Burial will be at the church cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Green was born Sept. 23, 1966, in Frogmore, the son of Alex and Lillie Scott Green.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include his mother; five brothers, Cedric Green and wife, Gloria, Darrell Green, Emanuel Green and wife, Dorothy, Demetrius Green and Bryan Green, all of Ferriday; two sisters, Joyce Jordan and husband, Thomas, both of Chicago, and Marilyn Green of Ferriday; and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
