FAYETTE — Services for Montrell A. Allen, 38, of Natchez, who died Monday, Feb. 16, 2009, at University Medical Center in Jackson, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Hollywood Baptist Church with the Rev. Percy Turner officiating.
Burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from noon until 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Allen was born Jan. 18, 1971, the son of Ike Brown and Sarah Allen. He was a graduate of Jefferson County High School and was a drum major in the high school band. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Bessie Williams Allen; six children, Trellvion Gaines and Jameshelle Gaines, both of Fayette, Montrell Allen Jr., Trevaraus Allen, Jade Allen and Jamarcus Allen, all of Natchez; his parents; stepfather, Nathaniel King, all of Fayette; three sisters, Sharicka King of Fayette, Pamela Brown of Dallas and Angela Stewart of Vicksburg; one brother, Carnell Allen of Fayette; and a number of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
