Natchez — The Fourth Street Church of Christ will host its annual women’s conference beginning at 8:30 a.m. today with a continental breakfast.
The theme this year is “Breaking Free to be Me.”
The purpose of the conference is to give women a new perspective for life, to ignite them to embrace faith, to learn to live above “see level” and break free and let God shine in 2009.
The featured presenter for the conference will be Jacqueline Dulin of Central Pointe Church of Christ in Dallas. Dulin is an accomplished speaker and woman of God.
There will be singing and workshops throughout the morning.
Special activities are also being planned for young children and teenagers. Door prizes will be given out.
The event will culminate with a luncheon at 12:30 p.m.
The annual conference has grown in popularity over the years, and traditionally attracts women from across the state of Mississippi.
In the past, women from as far away as Texas and Chicago have traveled to be part of the conference.
The conference is a free event and is open to the public
