NATCHEZ — Natchez Police responded to a burglary on Downing Road Friday.

The burglary happened during the afternoon hours, and when the victim arrived at home it was discovered the back door of the residence had been kicked in, Police Chief Mike Mullins said.

Items taken included a Dell laptop computer valued at $2,000, jewelry and a briefcase of an undetermined value, Mullins said.
