RICHLAND — Services for Sarah Bell Holland Guy, 81, of Richland, who died Saturday, Feb. 28, 2009, surrounded by her family at her residence, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Jesus Name Tabernacle in Richland.
Burial will be at 5 p.m. at O’Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, in Meadville, under the direction of Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home and from 1 p.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mrs. Guy was preceded in death by her husband, Charles M. Guy; her parents, the Rev. Wiley and Eula Holland; five brothers, Jerry, Charles, Winfred, G.W. Floyd and Bobby Dean Holland; and two sisters, Doris and Dorothy Holland.
Survivors include one son, the Rev. George Guy and wife, Sybil, both of DeQuincy, La.; one daughter, Doris Kircher and husband, Johnnie, both of Richland; one sister, the Rev. Dr. Jean Holland of Florence; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a special nephew, Jerry Holland and wife, Mary, both of Bude; a special niece, Charlene Stump and husband, Charles, both of Natchez; and special friends, Jay McManus and the Specialist Group of Wichita, Kan.
The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Sta-Home Hospice staff, her church family at Jesus Name Tabernacle and Chancellor Funeral Home for their love, support and care.
