– March 21, Firemen’s Ball. Expected attendance, 400 people.

– March 25 – March 27, the National Association of Social Workers, Mississippi Chapter, will have its annual conference. This year’s theme is “Social Work 2009: Defining Purpose and Exploring Possibilities.” Expected attendance, 375 people.

– April 4 – April 5, the Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates Conference.

SGNA is an organization of nurses and associates dedicated to safe and effective practice of gastroenterology and endoscopy nursing. Expected attendance, 130 people.

– April 11, National Coalition of 100 Black Women Fashion Show. Expected attendance, 150 people.

– April 13 – April 15, The Mississippi Head Start Spring Conference. Expected attendance, 400 people.

– April 16 – April 19, Mississippi Emergency Medical Technicians Association. Expected attendance, 150 people.

– April 23 – April 25, Mississippi Orthopedic Surgeons conference. Expected attendance, 80 people.
