natchez — It has been nearly two years since the Natchez gospel music group The Undertakers started performing and their music group has reached new heights. Their new CD, “Another River to Cross” was released on March 13.

Members of the gospel group are Clarence “Bear” Anderson Jr., Jeremy Failes, Jonathon Hargrave and Rodney Jenkins. The Undertakers contribute their success to God who, they say “opened the door for them.”

“We decrease ourselves so that God can increase what He wants for our ministry,” Anderson said.

The Undertakers are creating a new path of success. Anderson said the group recently received calls from promoters interested in an international tour. But most of the group’s supporters are in the Miss-Lou.

The Undertakers said they are thankful for the blessings God has given them as well as the support from local churches, church leaders and businesses.
