MEADVILLE — Services for Ruby McManus Jones, 89, of Liberty, who died Monday, March 30, 2009, at Liberty Community Living Center, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at O’Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. J. Frank Smith officiating.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Franklin Funeral Home Meadville.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until service time Thursday at the church.
Mrs. Jones was born Aug. 22, 1919, in Franklin County, the daughter of Stanford McManus and Mattie Temple McManus. She was a homemaker and a member of O’Zion Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dude Jones; one daughter, Carol Lynn; two sisters; one brother; and one grandson, Kyle Cowart.
Survivors include one daughter, Dona Cowart and husband, W.H., of Smithdale; two sons, Stan Jones and wife, Debbie, of Brookhaven, and Gary Jones and wife, Cindy, of Meadville; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
