ASU to offer PRAXIS workshop

LORMAN — The School of Education and Psychology will offer a PRAXIS I Examination Workshop. Applicants who were chosen as scholarship recipients will participate in the workshop. The workshop will be from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. at Alcorn State University on April 8 through 10 in the Walter Washington Administration Classroom Building, Room 11.

The purpose of this workshop is to present test-taking strategies as well as a content area review to assist current and prospective students who are preparing to take the PRAXIS exams. Dr. Charles Hatch of South Carolina will be the workshop consultant. Dr. Hatch has been conducting PRAXIS preparation workshops for several years and has enjoyed great success in guiding students to a passing PRAXIS score.

Additionally, ASU faculty will conduct content area review sessions for the PRAXIS II exam, which is scheduled for the last week of April 2009.
