OPELOUSAS, La. (AP) — St. Landry Parish sheriff’s deputies are seeking the public’s help in finding a 50-year-old man who, while naked, allegedly tried to break into a house in the Palmetto area last month.

Jimmy Darbonne, of the sheriff’s office Neighborhood Watch program, says the homeowner identified the suspect as Tom Mitchell Martin of Palmetto. Darbonne says Martin allegedly smashed a window at the homeowner’s house on March 28.

Upon his arrest, Darbonne says Martin will face charges of resisting an officer, simple criminal damage to property and obscenity in connection with the alleged crime.
