NATCHEZ — Trinity Episcopal will benefit from some great golf played on Friday.
The 10th annual Trinity Mayfair Scramble teed off at 1 p.m. at Beau Pré Country Club, and all proceeds from the tournament will go to the school.
“It goes to a general fund,” tournament director Wade Heatherly said. “The money helps the athletic department, academics, everything for the school.”
The team of Code Blue — Jeff Anderson, Kevin Smith Jr., Casey Hamm and Tommy Geohegan — won the tournament. Mike Cook won a gift certificate in the par-3 challenge.
“We hope to raise about $4,000 to $5,000,” Heatherly said.
