Natchez — This year’s Pilgrimage Garden Club Flower Show event, “The Magic of Natchez — Weddings Southern Style,” is organized around the many venues for weddings in Natchez: A Garden Wedding at Longwood, A Formal Evening Wedding at Stanton HalL or a wedding ceremony in one of Natchez’s lovely churches.

Whatever the venue, Natchez is a magical place for a wedding – and Longwood is a magical place to hold the 2009 Pilgrimage Garden Club Standard Flower Show! There are 6 sections in the Design Category — Traditional Church Wedding, Garden Wedding at Longwood, Evening Wedding at Stanton Hall, The Wedding Party: A Southern Bride, Bridesmaids, and The Groom.

The Pilgrimage Garden Club Youth groups, beginning gardeners, intermediate gardeners and junior gardeners have numerous horticulture and design exhibits as well, all in keeping with the Weddings Southern Style theme. The Flower Show will be performed from 3 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 25 at Longwood, 140 Lower Woodville Road, Natchez.
