NATCHEZ — After allegedly charging $10,000 on someone else’s credit card, two locals were arrested by Natchez police.

Chief of Police Mike Mullins said a New Orleans resident reported on April 28 that illicit purchases were being made on his credit card in Natchez.

Mullins said $1,000 worth of merchandise was charged at a local department store on items such as jewelry and DVDs.

At a local rental store, five large-screen televisions, living room furniture, a dinette set and a TV stand were illegally charged.

“We researched where the purchases were made, and we were able to develop enough evidence to charge two people,” Mullins said.

Kasha R. White, 29, and Joshua Sensley, 23, both of No. 5 Bud Scott Lane, were arrested Friday on charges of credit card fraud.

Sensley also has a New Orleans address of 9033 Palm St.

Mullins said after searching White and Sensley’s Natchez residence, police were able to recover nearly all of the property charged on the credit card.

Four of the televisions have not been recovered.

Sensley is still being detained on a $40,000 bond, and White was released on a $40,000 property bond.
