Natchez — Stanton Baptist Church in Natchez will welcome C.J. King as a summer intern directing the recreational activities of the children of the church and teaching them spiritual truths.

King, a native of Pearl, is currently completing his freshman year at Mississippi College in Clinton, with a major in business administration and a minor in religious ministries.

He will be on-site for the months of June and July, participating in Vacation Bible School from June 8 through June 12 and other special activities.

The Rev. Steve Purvis and members of Stanton have enjoyed C.J. during the Sunday visits prior to his coming and anticipate a successful summer.
