OXFORD — Augusta M. Smith and Andrew Joseph David, both of Natchez, are among the spring 2009 initiates into Phi Kappa Phi academic honor society at the University of Mississippi. Membership in Phi Kappa Phi, chartered at UM in 1959, is the university’s highest interdisciplinary honor.

Smith is a senior exercise science major. She is the daughter of William and Augusta Smith.

David is a junior psychology major He is the son of Jerry and Joan David.
