FERRIDAY — Services for Nathan England, 56, of Ferriday, who died Friday, May 8, 2009, at St. Francis Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria, La., will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at New Morning Star Baptist Church with the Rev. Willie Birdon officiating.
Burial will follow at Ferriday Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. England was born Nov. 30, 1952, in Ferriday, the son of Willie and Gladys Eubanks England. He was employed as an auto mechanic.
He was preceded in death by his father; two sisters, Cindy England and Doris Graham.
Survivors include his mother, Gladys; three daughters, Netrina England and Jasmine Schiele, all of Ferriday, and Naja Williams of Norcross, Ga.; one son, Michael Givens of Atlanta; one brother, Leondias England of Monroe, La.; one sister, Francine Vaughn and husband, Wendall, of Flint, Mich.; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
