NATCHEZ — Services for John Greene Jr., 70, of Natchez, who died Saturday, May 9, 2009, will be at 11 a.m. today at Forest Aide Baptist Church with the Rev. James Brooks officiating.
Burial will follow at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of George F. West Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time today at the church.
Mr. Greene was born Aug. 21, 1938, the son of John Greene Sr. and Eliza Greene. He was employed by Blaine and Company as a truck driver. He was retired.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Juanita Pearle Greene; one sister, Dorothy Greene York; and one son, Kenny Ray Greene.
Survivors include three sons, John Greene III, Claude Alexander and Arnold King; two daughters, Leigh Watkins and Juanita Pearle Greene; and one brother, the Rev. Robert Greene.
