NATCHEZ — Services for Sarah Lillian Lewis Wooten Linder, 85, of Natchez, who died Friday, May 22, 2009, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Laird Funeral Home Union Street Chapel with the Rev. Dan Ratcliff officiating.
Graveside services and burial will be at 4 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Brookhaven under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today and from 1 p.m. until service time Sunday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Linder was born March 7, 1924, in McCall Creek, the daughter of Clarence Wellington Lewis and Fannie Edell Hogan Lewis. She was a member of Natchez First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Vernon Wooten and Curtis Linder; two sisters, Ilene Arnold and Corene Laird; and two brothers, Troy Lewis and Lawrence Lewis.
Survivors include one daughter, Verna Wooten Bryant and husband, Mark, of Natchez; two grandchildren, Jason Bryant and wife, Charie, of Southhaven and Janna White and husband, Patrick, of Clinton; five great-grandchildren, Joshua Bryant, Kayla Bryant, Elizabeth Bryant, Sean White and Angel White; a number of nieces and nephews; and special caregivers, Chris Malone, Mary Murray, Terri Williams and Henrietta McCoy.
Pallbearers will be Men of First Baptist Church.
