Gospel music and cheers for veterans filled the Vidalia Conference and Convention Center Saturday afternoon for the Memorial Day Gospel Fest in honor of American Legion Post 590 veterans. The crowd cheered as two of the oldest World War II veterans from Post 590 were honored.

Participants also sang gospels led by the St. Mark Baptist Church Choir in honor of all of those who have fought for America.
