FERRIDAY — Mayor Glen McGlothin is out of the hospital and resting.

McGlothin was hospitalized overnight after he experienced significant drops and then spikes in his blood pressure Friday afternoon.

The mayor said he would spend a few days resting, and he has some blood tests scheduled for next week.

The doctor has told him he needs to make a few changes, and he will do so, McGlothin said.

“I want to see all of my kids and grandkids grown, and there are things I want to see done,” McGlothin said. “I want to be here for a lot more years.”
