NATCHEZ — Services for Odessa W. Fitzgerald, 73, of Natchez, who died Sunday, May 31, 2009, at St. Dominic Memorial Hospital in Jackson, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul African Methodist Episcopal Church with the Rev. John Quinn officiating.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from noon to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home; from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the church with Eastern Star rites at 7 p.m.; and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Survivors include her husband, Rufus; two daughters, Paula Gaylor and husband, Adell, of Natchez and Alisa Minor and husband, James, of Grayson, Ga.; five siblings, Janie W. King, Alma W. Fleming, Vinnie Doss, Frances McKnight and Cleveland Rice, all of Natchez; six grandchildren, Kevin L. Gaylor of Clinton, C. Danielle Gaylor and Ashley S. Gaylor, both of Natchez, Adrian Gaylor of Jackson, Jamesila Minor of Grayson, and Christopher Minor of Lawrenceville, Ga.; one great-granddaughter, Ziah Z. Gaylor of Natchez; three sisters-in-law, Annie L. Washington and Bettie L. Woods, both of Natchez, and Claudia M. Washington of Diamond Bar, Calif.; one brother-in-law, Ceasar Washington and wife, Sylvia; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Masonic brothers.
