Airman inducted into honor society at American Military

SUMTER, S.C. — Brandon Wallis, an active-duty Air Force member now living in Sumter, S.C., has accepted membership in Golden Key International Honour Society and was honored for academic achievement during a recent induction ceremony with American Military University.

Wallis, a Natchez resident before the service, is pursuing his master’s in management and has a 4.0 GPA.

Additionally, his accomplishments were recognized by Delta Epsilon Tau International Honour Society, which requires completion of 18 post-graduate hours and a minimum GPA of 3.95. Wallis is projected to obtain his master’s in April of 2010.

Wallis is the son of George and Sharon Wallis of Ocean Springs, and grandson of Joel and Lou Cottrell also of Ocean Springs.
