NATCHEZ — Services for Mazie B. Rolax, 85, of Natchez, who died Saturday, June 6, 2009, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Holy Family Catholic Church with the Rev. John O’Hallaren officiating.
Burial will follow at Pine Hill Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of George F. West Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Miss Rolax was born Sept. 26, 1923, in Natchez, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Perkins Rolax. She was a graduate of St. Francis High School. She was employed as a registered nurse in New York. She was retired.
Miss Rolax was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
Survivors include Theresa Cameron and family; Naomi W. Hall and family; and other cousins out of town.
