Scouting was great experience

I would like to thank everyone I’ve worked with during my 35 years of service to the Boy Scouts of America.
I have enjoyed working with your children to the best of my ability. I took care of them as they were my own children.
I was assistant Scout Master for 15 years prior to becoming Scout Master for 20 years. Since being Scout Master, I included other field trips that were meaningful and exposed our children to everything educational.
But it was Scout Masters Booker T. Alexander and John Wesley — who died during their tenure in the Claiborne County schools — who taught me everything they knew about scouting. My time is almost up as well. I thank you for the trust, confidence, respect and love you showed me.
