VICKSBURG — Services for Bradley Eugene Tanner, 26, of Vicksburg, formerly of Natchez, who died peacefully at his residence Tuesday, June 16, 2009, will be at 1 p.m. today at Fisher Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will follow at Yokena Cemetery under the direction of Fisher Funeral Home in Vicksburg.
Bradley was born in Natchez but lived his life in Vicksburg. He was the son of David E. Tanner and Susan Tanner Pharr. He attended Vicksburg High School and was a graduate of Hinds Community College. He was employed by Joe Bonelli for several years as a construction worker. Having received his contracts license, he had recently started his own business, Tanner Building and Development, Inc.
Bradley was a family man with a giving heart and could get anything accomplished no matter the obstacles that faced him.
He was preceded in death by his father; and grandfather, James Tanner.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Bobby Pharr; two sisters, Marcy Jones and husband, David, of Shreveport, La., and Leah Van Norman and husband, John; one brother, Matthew Tanner of Shreveport; grandparents, Jimmy and Carolyn Bradley of Fayette, Betty Tanner Rein of Lucedale and Mary Pharr of Vicksburg; three nieces, Charli and Avery Van Norman and Isabella Jones; one nephew, Tanner Jones; and a number of aunts, uncles and close relatives.
