Veronica Stokes

WOODVILLE — Services for Veronica S. Stokes, 38, of Slidell, La., who died Sunday, June 14, 2009, at the Gulf Coast Memorial Hospital in Gulfport, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Matthews Baptist Church with the Rev. Jesse Earls officiating.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Ms. Stokes was born June 7, 1971, in Natchez, the daughter of Clarence Adams and Norma Earls Adams. She served in the U.S. Air Force with a tour of duty in Operations Desert Storm.
Survivors include her parents, her father of Jackson and mother of Slidell; two sons, Schontaine D. Stokes and Dante J. Stokes, both of Slidell; four uncles, George H. Earls and wife, Christine, of Baton Rouge, Horace Earls of New Orleans, Ellis Earls of Woodville and Thomas Earls of Natchez; and maternal grandfather, Horace Mack Earls of Woodville.
