SICILY ISLAND — Graveside services for Virginia Elizabeth Inman Morris, 65, of Sicily Island, who died Saturday, June 20, 2009, at her residence will be at 11 a.m. today at Harris Cemetery in Crowville, with the Rev. Chris Hamilton officiating.
Mrs. Morris was born Nov. 12, 1943, in Natchez, the daughter of George and Mildred Inman. Mrs. Morris had been a resident of the area for more 30 years and worked as a homemaker. She was of the Pentecostal faith.
She was preceded in death by parents; two brothers, Buster and Lanny Inman; and one daughter, Charlotte Holley.
Survivors include two sons, Robert D. Holley Jr. and wife, Sharon of Fayette, and Glen Allen Holley of Pine Bluff, Ark; daughter, Wendy Danell Ratcliff of Sicily Island; stepson, Ernest W. Morris III of Wisner; special adopted daughter, Theresa Hart; five sisters, Judy Krize of Church Hill, Betty Inman of Ferriday, Judy Spillers of Harrisonburg, Georgia Smith of Vidalia, and Nadine Inman of Texas; eight grandchildren, Stephanie Graham and husband, Jacob, Christopher Holley, Heath Holley and wife, Linda, Seth Holley, Britney Riley and husband, Michael, Victoria Morris, Lindsey Holley and Brandy Ratcliff; and four great-grandchildren, Daycee and Brylee Graham, and Kristen and Marissa Riley.
Pallbearers will be Christopher Holley, Heath Holley, Seth Holley, Jacob Graham, Johnny Evans and Michael Ratcliff.
Honorary pallbearer will be Brady Ratcliff.
