NATCHEZ — Services for Mary Etta “May” Logan Foley, 86, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, June 30, 2009, at Williamsburg Senior Living Community in Baton Rouge, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary Basilica with the Rev. David O’Connor officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. until service time Thursday, both at the church.
Mrs. Foley was born Sept. 25, 1922, in Church Hill, the daughter of John Schwartz Logan and Annie Laurie Shields Logan. She was a member of St. Mary Basilica and Natchez Garden Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Louis Sanantonio and Edward J. Foley Sr.; and four brothers, Shields, John, James and George Logan.
Survivors include four children, Louis Sanantonio and wife, Kathy, of Mandeville, La., Edward Foley Jr. and wife, Karen, of Natchez, William Foley and wife, Chris, of Hattiesburg and Shelia Lyon and husband, Michael, of Baton Rouge; 10 grandchildren, Scott Sanantonio and wife, Danyele, Jeff Sanantonio and wife, Christy, Jennifer Sanantonio, Logan Foley, Cullen Foley, Kate Foley, Emily Foley, William Foley, Courtland Foley and wife, Laura, and Laurie Lyon; one great-granddaughter, Katelyn Sanantonio; one sister, Catherine Warriner of Raymond; and one brother, Aubrey Logan and wife, Sally, of Alexandria, La.
Pallbearers will be Scott Sanantonio, Jeff Sanantonio, Logan Foley, Cullen Foley, William Foley and Courtland Foley.
Memorials may be made to Bobby Irby Scholarship Fund, Cathedral School Development Fund or St. Mary Basilica.
