NATCHEZ —Graveside services for Ruby Cooper Frost, 94, who died Wednesday, July 8, 2009, at Magnolia House, will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Natchez City Cemetery with the Rev. Darian Duckworth officiating.
Burial will follow under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. until service time Saturday at Laird Funeral Home Union Street Chapel.
Mrs. Frost was born Aug. 12, 1914, in Natchez, the daughter of John Newton Cooper and Grace Hackler Cooper. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold C. Frost; two sisters; and one brother.
Survivors include one daughter, Grace Steiner of Natchez; one son, Harold Frost and wife, Sadie, of Diamondhead; five grandchildren, Keith Steiner and wife, Camille, of Tuscaloosa, Ala., Jim Nunez and wife, Mia, of McCalla, Ala., Steve Nunez of Houston, Texas, Amy Bridgers and husband, Ellis, and Angie Arthur and husband, Cass, all of Brandon; and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Dale Jackson, Lewis Powell, George Bearry, Richard Whitney, Ralph LeMay and Josh Callaway.
