Hardy Stampley Sr.

FAYETTE — Services for Hardy James Stampley Sr., 65, of Natchez, who died Saturday, July 18, 2009, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at noon Saturday at Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home in Bude.
Visitation will be from noon to 5 p.m. Friday at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mr. Stampley was born Nov. 29, 1943, in Jefferson County, the son of Allen Stampley and Audrey Jenkins Stampley.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Marqurette McGuire and Jessie Washington.
Survivors include a loving and devoted companion and mate for over 35 years, Barbara Jean Jackson; 10 children, Linda Faye Gibson and husband, Reginald, Hardy James Stampley Jr. and wife, Patricia, Patricia Ann Kees and husband, Tracy, Janice Means and husband, Frederick, Antonia Porter and husband, Cedric, Lisa Leon and husband, James, James Jackson and wife, Sharron, Marilyn Jackson, Carrie Jackson and Ronnie Jackson; three sisters, Ruby Bibbins, Mary Helen James and Eva James; six brothers, James Wiley Stampley, Lee Melvin Stampley, Al Stampley, Jimmy James, Donald James and Claude James; 25 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
