NATCHEZ — Services for DeKita Coach Johnson, 43, of Natchez, who died Monday, July 20, 2009, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Jerusalem Baptist Church with the Rev. Ernest Ford officiating.
Burial will follow at Perrytown Cemetery under the direction of Webb Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Johnson was born Dec. 19, 1966, in Natchez, the daughter of Lucendia Coach and Bennie Noble Sr. She attended North Natchez High and completed two years at Jackson State University. She was employed by the Malt Shop for nine years.
Mrs. Johnson accepted Christ in her life at an early age. She was a member of Jerusalem Baptist Church and was a member of the choir. She enjoyed reading, singing and spending time with her children.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Ethel Mae Coach, Dorothy Noble, Mary Noble and Odessa Noble; and two brothers, Willie Noble and Jacob Noble.
Survivors include her husband, Jeffery Johnson; five children, Roneika Coach, Jarrious Coach, Ellis Dorsey, D’Asia Coach and Jessica Johnson; four grandchildren, Daytwon Coach, Deontray Coach, Rashon E. Campbell Jr. and Za’Kyia Coach; three sisters, Joyce Floyd and husband, Walter, Shelley Anderson and husband, Andrew, and Patricia Coach and significant other, Anthony; and four brothers, Eddie Lee Hinton, Bennie Noble Jr., Charles Coach and wife, Debra, and Jewel Coach.
Pallbearers will be Keshon Coach, Travis Noble, Michelle Coach, Johnny McMorris, Clifford Thomas, Tyrone Newman, Derrin Carter and Roosevelt Coach.
