BATON ROUGE — Services for Norman Buckles, 74, of Baton Rouge, formerly of Natchez, who died Wednesday, July 22, 2009, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East Chapel.
Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. at Dantzler Cemetery in Knoxville under the direction of Rabenhorst Funeral Home East.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Buckles was the son of Levi and Lydia Buckles. He was a retired carpenter.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Earl Buckles.
Survivors include his wife, Norma Gene Buckles; five daughters, Natasha Pope and husband, Jeff, Hawedia Seeger and husband, Chris, Dana Welch and husband, Bill, Angela Nuss and Shondra Robert and husband, Eugene; 10 grandsons, Ryan and Dexter Pope, Bradley and Christopher Seeger, Brice and Brent Willis, Slate and Dustin Nuss and Carson and Kyle Robert; three step-grandchildren, Tozi and Travis Welch and Jonathan Robert; three sisters, Eula Lee Allen, Alice Fairbanks and Doris Tarver; and three brothers, James, Aubrey and Benny Buckles.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
