NATCHEZ — After nearly 150 years of delivery to doorstops and mailboxes, The Natchez Democrat may be coming to an inbox near you — actually a couple of thousand of them to be exact.

Delivery of The Democrat’s latest news and information delivery systems begins today with an early morning E-mail EXTRA.

E-mail EXTRA will include the latest news and sports headlines as well as links for the morning’s obituaries, crime reports and classified advertising deals.

“E-mail EXTRA will provide our audience with a convenient way to read the morning’s news by bringing it straight into their inboxes,” said Democrat Web Editor Ben Hillyer.

Signing up to receive E-mail EXTRA is easy and free.

Simply go to https:https://www.natchezdemocrat.com//alerts/manage/ to sign up.

Users may be prompted to register with the site if they have not already done so.

The process should only take a few minutes.
