Donate to Martin restorations

As the designated alumnus of Natchez High School (1928-1961), I am writing this letter to all fellow alumni, friends, civic clubs and businesses to ask for your help.
We have joined with the members of the Natchez Festival of Music in the not so glamorous task of repairing and updating the bathrooms in what is now known as the Margaret Martin Performing Arts Center.
The festival attracts thousands of visitors to our beautiful Natchez, and then they have to see those horrible bathrooms.
It is a shame and embarrassing for them, as well as us locals, to be exposed to this.
We are asking all alumni to donate at least $10 to the tax exempt Natchez Festival of Music — Building Fund; P O. Box 2207; Natchez, MS 39121.
We hope that others will help by raising money or donating supplies.
Ten years ago, the late Dr. Don Killelea asked the different classes of Natchez High to take one room or area as a project to help restore and save our great school building and we responded. We now need to continue our help.
Please give what you can.
